say it with flowers...
My alarm went off around 5:45 on Friday morning just a few weeks ago. After hitting snooze a few times I finally rolled out of bed, hopped in the shower and got ready for work. I was hoping that this day was going to be better than the day before. Thursday had been one of those days when nothing could go right and when things went wrong they really went wrong!
As I walked out to my car on this Friday morning I noticed something pink on my windshield. When I got closer I discovered a long stemmed pink rose neatly tucked underneath one of the windshield wipers. Wow…what a great way to start out the day! I picked up the rose and thought to myself how sweet it was of my boyfriend to do that for me. He must have really listened on the phone the night before as I told him about how badly Thursday had been for me. I had a huge smile on my face as I drove to work and I took the rose into my office and proudly displayed it in a vase on my desk.
Later I emailed Jason to inquire about the rose but, to my surprise, he informed me that the rose was not from him. What? That’s weird! Who could it possibly be from then?? I called my grandparents who live down the street from me but it wasn’t from them either. I asked the roommates and a few other friends as I quickly compiled a list of suspects in my mind. No, no, no…this is the answer I kept getting from people!
I’m sure most of you are thinking that I’m really ungrateful. People just don’t find flowers on their car every morning and I should just be happy there’s someone out there who would do something like that for me. If you’re one of these people then you must not know how weird things happen to me all the time and freaks come out of the wood work around me. If you ask me later I’ll tell you about the guy who smelled my hair, the guy who hit on me at the grocery store using the line, “Is it true what they say about red heads?”, or the guy who invited himself to come to dinner with me as I was pumping gas one night. Haha! So what do you think about this random rose now??
If anyone has information about this rose or the person who placed in on my windshield please let me know. It would help to put my mind at ease about this...haha.

I'm so far behind on my blog reading. I can't solve your mystery, but I understand your concern. Being a fellow freak magnet, things like this usually make me uneasy.
